A colleague of mine, went to Star Wars: Episode III, with me today. We got up early and went for breakfast, got to work early, so we could leave and go see a Noon matinee. (I love matinees.) The day was all Star Wars.
We were even wearing Star Wars: Episode III Return of the Sith t-shirts, I had bought in Beijing, China. Mine Vader and his Storm Trouper. Great shirts, this seemed nerdy but appropriate.
Not much of a line so we went and got slurpees, the weather was nice, they let the advance ticket holders in early. It all went so smoothly. Our slurpees even came into the theatre with us.
The moive journey was great, not as funny as I would like it to be. I am not a fan of computer graphic effects, just because you can. Many under developed character's, the story ties up too neatly, but this is George Lucas' vision, and my hat off to him.
We had a great afternoon at the movies.
I would love to see Star Wars: Episode VII (Seven).
